About Pack 224

Pack 224 was originally started by parents at Reed Elementary in San Jose in 2015, and has expanded to include Hacienda, Schallenberger, and homeschoolers as well. We are self-chartered and not affiliated with any church or other 3rd party organization. We offer scouting for students from Kindergarten through 5th grade.

We are a family pack, having started in the 2018-2019 program year, and are excited to welcome both boys and girls to their scouting journey!

Cub Scouts are organized within dens and multiple dens make up a pack:

Lions–Kindergarten
Tigers–1st Grade
Wolves–2nd Grade
Bears–3rd Grade
Webelos–4th Grade
Arrow of Light–5th Grade

We have monthly pack meetings from September through May and traditionally do a Fall and a Spring Campout. We also have a Pack Pinewood Derby and Blue & Gold Banquet annually. Dens also meet 1-3 times per month to work on the requirements for their rank.
